Back in the Studio!!

With a little revamping and an awesome new business partner who is top notch with record keeping,the shop is booming.

 I have been having so much fun creating all kinds of  items to add to the charm. It seems I no sooner get it in there, then it is swooped up by some lucky shopper.

I saw on a blog how to make a feather from music paper and knew it was something I was going to need to do. I am so grateful to have come across this post and let the inspiration take me to new creations.

The latest two plaques are ready to hang and wait for their new owner.

Cooper Nest est. 1989

My husband and I were married in 1989. We moved to this house at that point and raised our family. 1989 seems so old when you look at it in roughed up print, but it is more than 20 years, so by all rights it's 'vintage' correct? 

After getting my new issue of Somerset Home, I saw something that inspired me and I could create without spending a penny. I ran over to Sandy's studio and stole a few of her tart tins, then I invited her to play with me. Here are snapshots of our day.
